Has anyone used neokens.com? Real AI model API or sketchy proxy?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking into neokens.com and wanted to ask if anyone here has real experience with it.

They claim to provide one API key for models like GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc., with much cheaper pricing than the official providers. Their docs seem to use an API base URL like api.quatarly.cloud/v1, so it looks more like a proxy/reseller gateway than a direct official provider.

A few things I’m trying to verify:

  • Are the models actually the real upstream models they claim?
  • Has anyone compared outputs, latency, and usage reporting against official OpenAI/Anthropic/Google APIs?
  • Are they an authorized reseller, or just routing through some unofficial backend?
  • Has anyone had billing, refund, account ban, or data privacy issues with them?
  • Would you trust it for production, or only for testing with non-sensitive prompts?
I’m not calling it a scam, but the big discounts and third-party API endpoint make me cautious. Any firsthand experience, technical testing, or red flags would be helpful.

Thanks!

I found this website when searching for Neokens before buying the Tester Plan. After testing their models and finding them clean, I topped up €1,700 in credits. It has been working really well for my agents over the past few days

Yeah, i think so. They do have similar responses as from official sources

it is by far far NOT perfect and if you need reliability or so then you should use the officials ones. At my testing, the prices were less than official sources, and the latency was a bit longer, and the setup is also not perfect. they DO have setup guides, but i personally found that opencode was working the most reliable for me. they sometimes don't know how to use the tools and / or just say 1 sentence and stop, but this may also be a error on opencodes end. The most times it worked good enough

Officially, they say: "We aggregate enterprise commitments across all major providers and pass the volume discount back to you. Drag the slider — see exactly what your top-up unlocks." as of 26.07.2026

However, personally I think, because these ai company don't give out these types of stuff to people, and every time they get asked in the official Discord about that they ignore the question of how they are so cheap, I don't really think that.
Has anyone had billing, refund, account ban, or data privacy issues with them?
Nope and yes. I did had an Account suspension, however on contacting an admin/owner/staff on discord that suspension got lifted in less than 12 hours and i got compensation. Billing worked smoothly, I didn't test refund/ I don't think they have such stuff and hey, they give these stuff out extremely cheap.

I personally do think that they MAY OR MAY NOT look at some chats/ sell them as training data to get some money, HOWEVER this is JUST AN THEORY and there is NO proof! I can only advise to Not share secrets / sensitive stuff via this.
Would you trust it for production, or only for testing with non-sensitive prompts?
Absolutely not trusting, but I still use them because they are cheap. However, i personally am way more cautious than normal providers as they seem a bit sketchy, see the reasons above.

They also have 2 different Services, one is neokens.com and one is quatarly.cloud i don't really know what the difference is, but they are operated by the same people.

A massive Plus point is that they have like 60+ Completely free models. No limit, no hidden stuff.

As they are free, they may be sometimes down and you need some paid credits to use them, but it works with the smallest amount (5$).

As an final takeaway:

Does it work? Yes.
Should you use it? Maybe, if you feel comfortable with a bit of risk attached.

Do I feel comfortable recommending it to my friends/Family? Maybe, if you wanna be tech support when there is an small error.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
